What a cool page about your dad. And you have some sweet memories there too! Nice journaling. telling the story with the picture is so important too! Great page!
Beautiful page :) My dad worked for a Lamothe (Ray and Theresa) for a long time. Talk about a long line of family, there must be a thousand Lamothe's around here. :)
My Dad in 1961. I wanted it to go with but not be exactly like the page I did on my mother. All scraps except for the background yellow. I wanted to keep the writing on the photo visible, so I ended up splitting the photo frame on the diagonal to allow extra room for the edges of the photo. Journalling says (Born November 23, 1936 in Warren, NH the only child of Roderick "Pete" Lamothe and Bernice Lupien. Married to Marie Thompson in april 1962. Father to 3 girls he never seemed to mind not having a son. A carpenter by trade, he would take us with him on odd jobs from time to time where we got to "help" by holding wood for him to cut or fetching needed tools. He took us fishing, snowmobiling, swimming. With him we got to make maple sugar in spring and apple cider in the fall. Although not in the best of health, Dad still mows his own lawn and does the repairs around the property. He loves to visit and tells a great story! 2008
