Hi fellow Scrappers! I'm back! Kelly at Scraputane was nice enough to ask me to be a GD for her and her wonderful store/blog using the new Basic Grey's What's Up Collection. It's wonderful paper and the use is limitless! Be sure to check out more wonderful items and tutorials on her blog at scraputante.blogspot.com. It's amazing!

Several years ago I worked for a company that would schedule our fall meeting in Albuquerque, New Mexico so we could attend their wonderful Balloon Festival. If you ever get the chance to attend it is beautiful beyond words. You have to get up at 4 AM to be there for lift off and of course champagne and orange juice is required or better known as the "hair of the dog" to get all of us up and moving! They have a race with about 500 balloons. Afterwards some of them will let you have short rides. Our "leader" was friends with one of the crews and so we were encouraged to try it out. Needless to say after several breakfast drinks we were game! It's impossible to tell who is in the balloon but trust me there were to many people for my liking! It is fun to look back on now though....now that my feet are on the ground!

I stamped the background paper and used Perfect Pearls to add more balloons. Lots of fussy cutting and then I added some liquid Perfect Pearls to the balloon. Thanks for all of your sweet comments and encouragement to get me back to scrapping! And thanks again to Kelly for honoring me with a GD spot! TFL
