Beautiful photo scrapped perfectly! I love this Kimmy & I can so relate to your description!!!! There were times when I'd come back to WA state after a stint in AK & on the way home I would take in the scenery & say "I live in beautiful country"!!! Proof that absense makes the heart grow fonder! Fab work Girl!

That's a beautiful photo, Kim, and you've scrapped it so well with your subtle masking and your layers and the perfect touches of chippies to make this such a stunning page!!!!!!!
WOW - what a beautiful photo. You did such a wonderful job of showcasing ALL that BEAUTY! Love how you cut the leaves on the background pp so they lay on top of the striped paper - adds great depth. Loved reading your description too - hopefully you wrote those lovely heartfelt sentiments on the back. TFS!!!

Bena is a small town in rural Victoria (Australia). Located in South Gippsland, it's in the the heart of some of the richest dairy country in Australia. This photo is one of my favourites from my last two trips back 'home'. It's funny how you take the beauty of your home town, for granted until you move away and you start to miss the little things. When I take walks near my parent's house now, I enjoy and appreciate this beautiful area, so much more than I did before I moved overseas. Little things, like the scent of eucalypt in the air, or the crazy laugh of the kookaburras, the bright pretty flash of colour from the crimson rosellas, even just the quiet, serene beauty of the landscape. Now when I go home, I take the time to enjoy these little things
I took this photo on an early morning walk, as the mist was slowly being replaced by the sun. It was so peaceful and relaxing, just standing there and taking in this beautiful view.
I've been wanting to scrap this photo for a long time and finally, a perfect paper collection came along. I created this page with the stunning "Great Southern Land" paper collection from Kaisercraft - a birthday gift from Mum (Thanks Mum), it's truly a gorgeous collection of pps and just perfect for this photo.
Chippies (Gumnut/leaves and barbed wire) are from Scrap FX (Australia) - thanks to Mum and Jilly for those.
Thanks for looking and for taking the time to leave your comments and votes, each and every one is appreciated.
