I recently noticed what lovely results can be achieved by using Distress Embossing Glazes. Especially Cmkondrat's gorgeous cards were a total inspiration and prompted me to have a go.

I used "Fire Brick" on this card, over some texture paste and the result is truly awesome! It looks almost like enamel and has a beautiful sheen to it! This was intended to be a test piece, it looks a bit rough in places (moved the stencil while adding the paste.......) but I decided to use it on a card and I am pleased with the result.

Thank you Cmkondrat for your encouragement and inspiration, I must say I have become a fan of glazes and will be adding more colours to my Christmas Wish List ;-)
