There are precious few photos showing hubby (or his siblings) when he was little. When Steve handed me this one I just knew I had to scrap it. The inspiration for the LO design came from a YouTube tutorial by Tiffany Solorio (Mixed media layout tutorial | How to make a mixed media scrapbook layout)

I dug out all my baby sentiments and embellies and went to work. I even did a little hand sewing. Everybody who knows me would gasp in astonishment now, because I just avoid doing any kind of sewing. I don't even have a sewing machine. I "ruffled" the lace ribbon for a more dimensional look. (Well, that's my needlework done for this year!) The pram is one of my favorite laser-cut embellies EVER! It is by a Polish company called Scrapiniec, they produce the most beautiful pieces. I heat embossed it as well as the photo frame (Dusty Attic) and the title.

For Steve, this precious picture also recalls happy memories of his Mum, Betty, who sadly is no longer with us.

I hope you all have a fun-filled and creative weekend, enjoy what you're doing and thank you for stopping by! Petra
