This is a page I created using one of my favorite photos from last year at the Christmas Tree Farm, warming our hands at one of the fire pits placed throughout the farm. I really wanted a page that played up my personal favorite colors for the holidays - red, kraft, and cream. I love this combination because I always want the green to organically come through - our main Christmas tree is even decorated in these colors so that the green from the tree is lovely on it's own. For this page, I decided to use washi tape to pull these colors together. Typically at home I use silver as my metallic, but this page really called for gold, so I used a gold metallic washi in there as well. I punched snowflakes out of vellum for a delicate indication of the cold against the warmth that radiates from the photo along with my burst of washi tape.TFL! ;)
