I am wondering if Elizabeth has ever used a Spam can??? Way cool & such creativity. What a remembrance of your trip to CO & then having the kind heart that you have sent it to Pam, awesome! Pam, what a kind gesture to send her the new machine!:))
This is just amazing Laura! I'm so glad you detailed the journey with all of the extra photos, as they were thoroughly enjoyable to read through. What a fantastic gift of appreciation!
The innovation and creativity that went into this amazing project is off the charts. I realize that I often use the word outstanding when commenting on your work that's because your creations definitely stand out for their beauty, ingenuity and sheer magnificence. You are a wonderful artist!
This project was made as a Thank You gift for my friend Pam, to thank her for so graciously sending me a new die cut machine. Mine bit the dust! Without that I would not have been able to hold my Die Cut Swap! My hubby gave me this can over the summer and as we were headed back from Colorado, the inspiration hit me of what I wanted to do with this. I had it all in my head and had to get it down on paper, then try to execute my vision! We had just been staying in an old town(Cripple Creek) and road the train to the mines. I made everything! I wanted her to look like shes walking up from below and him and the train like they came to a screeching halt to pick her up (added the fire at the wheels). Old world meets New world steampunk style! The track I was rather proud of because at times I did not think it was going to stayed glued with the curve I wanted! The Wander Blvd tin sign was mint green and I altered it to fit my colors better. There are things everywhere in here that the camera just could not pick up that only Pam will be able to see. But I tried to take several pics to give different perspectives! Even the Ammo Spam Can I started with. This project took a few months to complete. I struggled with glues! Finally I endured the harsh smell of E^))). Nothing else would work! Hope I covered everything! So Thank You Pam and I hope you like it! TFL!
