Anyone who has been to the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta, is familiar with Gasper. He is a 15 year old beluga whale who suffers from a bone infection known as osteomyelitis. Gasper and his pal, Nico were rescued from an amusement park in Mexico where they lived under a wooden roller coaster. The unsuitable conditions may have damaged his immune system. UPS donated a special Boeing 767 to fly Gasper and Nico on a direct flight from Mexico City to Atlanta. If love can heal, Gasper will live a long time; for he is loved.
