SHCG: Oh Christmas Tree oh Christmas tree. I would agree that the title is a little dark That's why they made GLITTER! And how could you leave those hooks in the Christmas letters empty? They are just crying out for a few ornaments.
SHCG: Great LO! I love the PP and the string. I agree with the ideas on making the title stand out more. Unless of course it just looks like that in the photo :)
SHCG: I love this Jesse! The fibers at the bottom are awesome. Great color combo and all the textures are fabulous. The suggestions for making the title pop are excellent and I have one to add to them, still using something like stickles or small bling, dot the letters in small dots, silver or white would work, and it might give the feel of tree lights and tie in with the cute dots on the right.
SHCG - Excellent LO, Jesse! Love the element-layering, felt, string & overall design. I like the title font & agree w/ the ideas above re: how to make the letters stand out more on the dark pic. You've inspired/reminded me re: scrappin without pics- TFS!
SHCG: Beautiful tree and nice pps, Jesse. I love the string and the Christmas font. I like both MyN and Wendy's ideas. I was thinking just go over the letters with silver gel pen or that stickles that has no color but has a shimmer. I also suggest adding the year. The felt is a fab idea. I love the texture it adds to the page.
SHCG: Beautiful page! I love the pps , the photo is nice, so is the string! I also like the white ink on the photo mat. I was thinking you can use ink on the title or just outline the letters with white pen-I think that will help the title stand out. Love the felt pages too!
SHCG: Amanda is correct, that string adds a lot. I also love the felt and multiple patterned papers. So, I am thinking about your letters and how they blend in with your picture...what if you covered them with some sort of stickles and I think blue would be a fantastic color. Currently I am not really finding a focal point and one pop of color on those letters would really make them stand out as well as adding a focal point.
My Christmas tree this year. I have to admit I screwed up with the color of the title, but I did this page without having the photo printed and didn't realize how dark it was. :) Oh well, it happens!
