DH,DS,and me went to Australia for 4 weeks and took one bag each and the computer. We couldn't have managed all that luggage!!

Want to pack lighter...my family's tip is "travel by bus" (we're carless and, yup, we have learned to pack light by necessity...family of 4 staying for 2 nights and my husband & I carried it all across city *on a bus*).

I usually have dh just unload the clothes and the towel bags in front of the washer.
