This is so interesting. How many people are usually in there? It looks like it goes the whole length of the temple, does it?

September 30 - JCCP Sukkah

this is our temples sukkah - assembled by the members and students every fall and large enough to house the entire congregation or a luncheon. The side wall of the main building is used as one wall allowing us to use the side doors of the temple to enter/exit the sukkah. The other three walls are canvas hung on metal poles and the roof is slats of wood slid across the crossbeams of the metal structure. Floor is simply the dirt/grass of the temple property strewn with hey and moss. See my other photo for an "inside the sukkah" shot.
