This is FUN. All those odd little bits and pieces of embellishment and ephemera - they give this page a kind of nostalgic feeling, like one of those old time scrapbooks my mom used to make where she put EVERYthing in there. And your photograph is so charming! I like that you set it on point to level it against all the tilted embellishments. It keeps it along the same theme lines while not looking crooked.
