Another page from my England trip. I visited a store claiming they are a "Beatles Shop".
Journaling reads:
I wouldn't say that before I went to England that I was a Beatles fan. I didn't dislike the Beatles, I just wasn't a big fan. I didn't go out of my way to listen to their music. While in London I got to visit the "Beatles For Sale" store. It was located off of the beaten path, next to a store that used to be the 'Bag of Nails'; the pub where Paul met Linda in 1967.
For whatever reason once I got stateside I started really liking the Beatles. I can't explain why after the trip I 'suddenly' liked the Beatles, I just did. And I'm not a major fan in that I don't own any Beatles memoralbilia, but I do have a couple of anthologies. I know that I like their music because it is classic, timeless and was innovative far beyond its years. Today's music attempts to compare, but nobody says yeah, yeah YEAH, like the Beatles.
