Beautiful page, I love the idea of using wallpaper. I have a roll left from my hs bedroom, always thought I would use it in my house, but it doesn't go anywhere. I am going to have to use this idea sometime and do a lo with it.
I can see why you won.....this is gorgeous! Love all the paper layering and fussy cutting! I like how the dress form matches her costume and your dh made that.....WOW!
GREAT Layout.. I love the.... what do you call it.. dress makers form? Mannequin? I know there is a proper word.. but can't think of it.. that looks need.. a great embellishment for the page. Great job on all the cutting!!
This is so beautiful!!! I love how you added the miniature dress on the dress form, what a special touch. Distressing is something that I need to comfortable with as it really makes a layout pop. I can see why you won a prize. I'm marking this as a fav and sending it to my cousin, my scrapbooking buddy.
I created this layout of our teenage daughter when she was 14, in a costume that my husband, Yes, my husband made her with the sewing machine...!!! It is a Tinkerbell dress and crown..for Halloween and for school.. Simply used some wallpaper, flowers, brads, lettering, and sewing.. This layout was also originally entered into a contest where I did win a prize for the work.....My first time ever...! :O
