Very different for you but very pretty - love it! I was wondering what in the world Cullen Skink was and thankfully you explained. Here in the states, a skink is a ugly little black lizard - very shiny black like patent leather and it has white stripes on its body and a bright neon blue tail. It doesn't move like other lizards - it slithers more like a snake even though it has legs. So glad you explained you weren't eating these skinks! Anykind of seafood chowder - I can make a meal of that! Beautiful photos and you have the best eye for picking out the perfect kits!

this is a tiny fishing town at the end of the West Coast railway line. The Jacobite runs from Fort William to Mallaig and we enjoyed looking around the little town and having a quick supper of Cullen Skink (aka Smoked Haddock chowder!) We had been here before as the ferry from Sky comes here and in the middle photo far left you can just make out the Cuillins - how I wished we were going to be on that ferry...oh well another day.
