As part of Ella's birthday, we did a Scavenger Hunt downtown. When we got to City Hall, there was a service going on to honour all those who had fallen in the course of their jobs! We definitely waited and paid our respects! I used washi tape on the top left, middle left and bottom right pockets, I also staped te canadian flag on the top left and the maple leaf on the top right. I am using some some VERY OLD stash from before I moved over to the UK! On the top right I used a frame as the focus was the flag at half mast, which was our first clue something unique was going on - and you don't see a Mountie every day in Waterloo, ON. I used some stickers that are about 9 years old on the middle two pockets as well as the bottom right.
