This is a layout I did to tribute my wonderful mother. The journaling reads: My mom: what can I say? She is strong, optimistic, and caring. She is always there for me and ready to share not just good, but great advise (whether I want to hear it or not)! She believes in me and believes that there is good in everything and everyday if you just look at things the right way. I know that I would not be the person I am today without her help, guidance and belief in me.
The summer I got married my mom found out that she had breast cancer. She had to get a mastectomy almost immediately after finding the lump. We were all worried about her, and we still do; but once again she has proved that she is unconquerable in both body and spirit. She refuses to let it get her down… in fact, she decided that it was a good time to go out and buy a Corvette! That’s my mom for you: Undeniably beautiful, strong, and inspiring. Mari is one of a kind.
I am going to comment on my own LO (about 2 years later - 11/01/08)....
1. Like the way I did the ribbon
2. Like the torn layers
3. Overall placement of items needs a little work.... There are some elements that don't exactly work visually. But I am still happy with it 2 years later!
