We were on our way to dinner to celebrate my dd’s 22nd birthday when I happen to look down into the street and saw these helpless ducklings waddling by the curb under an overpass ramp heading towards the freeway! My heart dropped and I said to dh their ducklings, their gonna get ran over. So he & dd jumped out of the truck, stopped a crowded intersection to rescue these little sweethearts! Surprisingly my dh & dd received no honks or any forms of road rage!! It seemed once everyone realized what they were trying to do, time just froze. It was such an awesome feeling knowing people still have compassion even for 2 tiny, lost little ducklings!! =]
