Today I am a wife and a mother, just what I dreamed of being. Does that make life easy or perfect? Easy, no- perfect, yes- even if I don’t realize it all of the time. I love my job as a mother. I do not love my job as a homemaker. I’m not so good or interested in doing all of the cleaning up that is required. Who loves all of the things they have to do at work though? The trade-off is definitely worth it. I love being home with my son. I love that I get to see all of his firsts and teach him how to do so many things. I love making him smile and taking handsome photos of it. I love that I can procrastinate my cleaning and scrapbook instead without having to worry about deadlines. I love that I have a wonderful supportive husbandwho likes it when I am creative. I am happy just as I imagined even if I never could have imagined how much work this life would be.
