This is a photo of my parents which I am guessing was taken in the early 1940's. It was taken in Sydney where they were living at the time. It was quite common for sidewalk photographers to be out and about taking photo's. Even in that era it looked to be very busy!
This layout was a bit of a struggle and not the visualised finished project that I had in mind. The lamp post is Dusty Attic and although I love it I found it very intimidating because of the size of it...most people would read measurements before ordering...lol. I didn't know how to paint it and I almost fried it with the heat gun...in the end it turned out ok. Then I tried the water distress technique... that failed and ended up in the bin...so I settled for some old pp's and decided not to do the distressing. The butterfly and swirl chippie is Scrapmatts who also make beautiful laser cuts. TFL :)
