WOW!!! This is an awesome page..Those papers are so perfect for those beautiful pictures. I love how you used the gumnuts and tea tree sprigs with the flowers... Great job!!!
Really great lo , the colours blend so well with out taking anything away for the gorgeous scenery. Love the addition of the wild flowers , very authentic also.
wow-this is beautiful-i love the plants you used to accent your page! The colours you chose are perfect with these pics and the striped strip with the scalloped strip is so pretty and pulls it all together so well!
These papers compliment the spectacular scenery perfectly, and the sketch does a beautiful job of enhancing rather than distracting from the lovely photos! I might also suggest BG Indian Summer. We have a lot of red dirt and rock in Southern Utah too, and I used that collection for photos of the Grand Canyon as well.
A funny story about red dirt.... when we were in Hawaii the one thing I wanted to see most was the waterfall featured in the film Jurassic Park, so we got up at 4:AM to drive across Oahu and catch the plane to Kauai. Our tour took us to Hawaii's little Grand Canyon and the guide bragged continuously about the only red dirt in the world! I was so disgusted that on this once in a life time vacation to tropical islands I had gotten up at the butt crack of dawn and spent hundreds of dollars to island hop to another island just to see country that looked exactly like home!
That title is fantastic...especially with the photo of you and the incredible rock formation! Your flowers and greens are BEAUTIFUL...I hope the plants stand the test of time because they are a lovely addition to this lo. And you did choose the PERFECT pps....the colors come to life and this design is WONDERFUL!
oh such great scenic fotos there depicting our country...visited this area a long long time ago...the flowers look awesome esp with the addition of the sprigs and gumnuts.... great lil Ad for the West...gorgeous lil creation
Oh my this is absolutely fantastic! Great to see some Aussie landscape pics too! I love that you used the gumnuts and the sprigs - Fabulous idea.. What a beautiful place too! We will be over at WA hopefully by the end of next year to visit family!! Will have to visit this National park!! A fave!!
I used a Valerie Salmon sketch from Got Sketch for this layout. Picking up the right colours for the Australian landscape is not easy, so nothing could have been more perfect than these pp's from Bo Bunny and Kaiser. I am also limited with flowers. For this cluster or flowers I used the daisy like Prima's and then I decided to try the real thing and have used gumnuts and tea tree sprigs....the gumnuts will be fine but I'll have to wait and see how the sprigs go over time. The photo's are my dh and I in the Kalbarri National park in Western Australia. It is absolutely spectacular scenery. We did some serious hiking while there to the river below and not long after these pics were taken it started to rain...we were drenched...lol. TFL :)
