I tell you...this layout has sooo much dimension that it looks like it has been placed right inside that frame :) It is toooo beautiful...love every little bit of everything here :)x
Gorgeous does not even begin to describe this page Maryanne. The angle of your photo looking up at the castle with the flowers at the bottom makes you feel that you're standing there. I love the embellishments you've used. Simple but well placed.
Oh WOW, a really stunning page!!! You have really created a dramatic and magical and visually eloquent work of art! Absolutely amazing design, and fabulous elements!! So inspirational, and a favorite for sure!!
SOunds like a fabulous trip...I'm envious! Someday we plan to go to Ireland, when kids are done with college and we have $ to spend on something other than more books! haha~ Nice details on this LO. Great texture, like the Prima clock~

Fabulous LO, Maryanne - you really captured the antiquity of this site - kudos to you for managing to actually kiss the Blarney Stone - that's quite an acrobatic feat ~
Oh my spectacular photo and layout! What a treasured memory of that bucket list "kissing of the Blarney Stone!! I have to admit, I would have loved to have seen that shimmying and stretching and puckering~where is that photo??

Awesome! You're so lucky to be able to travel to so many exciting places...and your photos are always picture postcard perfect and your layouts are brilliant. Love the pp frame and the beautiful details!
Fabulous photo, though I wish it were of the kiss! Now that would have been worth seeing!!! LOL! Your "wild looking" hand stitching is my fav part of this beautiful page!
Wow, this is a really awesome page! The Marigold frame is gorgeous, and I love the stitching. It really adds to the page! You've got so many great embellishments and a stunning photo. Ireland is one place I haven't made it to yet...I look forward to it!

Wow! What a fabulous first layout for 2013, Maryanne!! I love this photo of the Blarney Castle!!!! You framed it so beautifully. Yes, I agree with Romy, your layout looks like it could hang in that amazing castle! Thanks for sharing your talent with us!!!!!
What a beautiful lay-out! This reminds me of the gorgeous paintings that probably hung in that castle quite some time ago. Just love the cluster with the tiny birdcage!
My first layout for 2013. Hard to believe it is already February. Last year we visited the Blarney Castle in Co. Cork Ireland. It is such a magical place and I was eager to kiss the legendary Blarney Stone, which I did. I figured I needed some "eloquence". Hanging over the edge backwards took a bit of shimmying and stretching of the neck and puckering of the lips...I was so thankful there was an attendant to hold your legs so you didn't slip through the bars to the ground below. It was all well worth it and another thing crossed of my bucket list.
I used the Kaisercraft Marigold collection with some old Prima pp's. The bridge is from Scrapmatts and the branch is also Scrapmatts...cut from a larger branch. Some lace and other old bits and pieces from my stash and some wild looking hand stitching.
Thankyou so much for stopping by and taking a peek. Your visits are always appreciated! Hugs :)
