This guy has anger in his eyes at this moment in time.
G and I were sitting at the table doing a craft when I noticed 10 doves in the backyard. I most certainly don't want a ton of doves in the yard eating my veggie seeds as I plant them so, G and I decided we needed to let the cat out to scare them away. As soon as we stood up to find the cat this hawk plunged down from the sky grabbed up one of the doves and attempted to make off with a plump dinner. Sadly or happily depending on which bird you are, the dove escaped the hawk's talons and flew straight into our slider before dizzily making a break for it. G and I just stared out the window for a few minutes taking in what had happened before I saw my P and S on the table and got this shot.
