This is the story of why I scrapbook. The joy of scrapbooking for me is that it fulfills so many things for me. It’s my creative outlet, like my Mom I am a “jack of all trades, master of none.” Scrapbooking gives me endless options to play with my crafty imagination. I scrap to show my love, highlighting my family and the precious memories we share in a form that can be passed on. Mostly I scrap because its tradition, I am a 2nd generation scrapper following in my Mom’s footsteps. She has been this amazing crafty person for as long as I can remember, and was very into stamping till scrapping began to be introduced in the 1990’s. Then she switched gears, at that time in my life I was a teenager, and it seemed at times that was the only thing we had in common; almost a secret language we both spoke. Of course as I grew up we grew closer, and scrapbooking has continued to be a shared passion. As I have moved around the country following Chris’ jobs this secret language I shared with her has opened up new doors leading to new friends who also have a passion for scrapping. It will forever be a tradition for me, and one I am proud to carry on.
