This is a picture postcard of my Great-great-grandmother, who I am named after.
The journaling reads:
This is a picture post card of my great-great-grandma Nancy Crum, and my great-aunt Laura Crum. They sent it to my great-grandma, Dollie Nichols. She was Nancy’s daughter and Laura’s sister.
Our family has a LEGACY that adheres to a strong belief in God, the Bible and the Church. I have done my best to continue that legacy.
Unfortunately, there is no date or return address. So I have no way of knowing where this was taken or when.
This much I do know I am Grandma Crum’s namesake. I never met her. But I hope that she is proud of me and the life I am living today.
Nancy means- Grace. I hope that I show that to others. More importantly, I want to live in grace, as offered by Jesus Christ when he was crucified to give me life and forgiveness.
I want to continue
