Bedecked with bright, lush blooms, this LO is a juxtaposition of sorts. The image, a charming studio portrait of my little brother and I as young children, is upbeat and adorable, whereas the sombre handwritten journaling to the right of it talks about the fact that – due to a challenging childhood and a many differing views – we are no longer the close siblings and friends we were back in those (seemingly) simpler days of youth.
No matter the hardships we've faced, I love my brother very much and am thankful for photos like this which celebrate the days when we as close as any two siblings could ever be. I hope that one day we'll be able to recapture some semblance of that tight relationship again.
