Oh my word, I am so far behind on my uploading! To say it's been "one of *those* years" so far would be a massive understatement. Many things have been transpiring lately to keep me from being able to spend much time online or creating, but I'm grabbing a few moments while I have them now (in the middle of the night) to upload some of my creations from earlier this year.

I want to thank those who have left me (deeply caring) messages and sent me PMs lately. I sincerely apologize for being rather MIA. I appreciate your care tremendously (I am so blessed to have wonderful online friends like you!) and hope very much to be able to spend more time here again as the spring progresses.

Regarding this page...My mom and (maternal) granny both say that they have lousy senses of direction (though I think mom's better at it then she gives herself credit for), and having heard them state that many times throughout my life, it occurred to me at some point that I was very lucky not to share that trait in common with them. While I don't profess to be super awesome at not getting lost, I am (humbly) fairly good at it - and even better at remembering a route once I've traveled it. I'm thankful for this ability and hope it's one I never lose!

I'm thrilled with how this page turned out! I went into it knowing I wanted to use a map patterned paper as the background (I also used a map patterned journaling card that I had to punch photo corners from), and then having found one in my stash, continued the travel/orientation theme on with papers that included things like a compass and vehicles (the small paper tucked under the journaling square on the right side has images of antique modes of transportation on it) to create a page that really drives home (pun intended) the subject of my journaling.

~ Heartfelt thanks for checking out my page. Any questions about this LO, please don't hesitate to ask. Wishing you a blissfully creative day! ~
