Give a Cheer
Before mentioning a couple of points about this page, I wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank absolutely everyone who has commented on my work (and/or left profile page comments for me) recently.
As some of you know, it isn't always feasible for me to leave a message of thanks on your profile page (much as I would truly love to), but it would be unthinkable for me not to let you all much I truly cherish and appreciate every single one of your fantastic comments.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for being such a sweet, wonderful community, everybody!
(About this LO...) The women in my immediate family tend to love Halloween (it's my favourite holiday of the year), and this page celebrates that fact with a darling photo of my little sister (as a toddler) helping to carve out a jack-o-lantern. Just like me, she grew up to adore All Hallow's Eve and we both – as well as our mom – look forward eagerly to its arrival each fall.
The misted trees in the upper right corner were created using a 6”x6” Crafter's Workshop template called “Mini Branches”. For an added touch of whimsy (and a nod to Halloween costumes), I put a cute little black bow on my sister's head in the photo, and can't help but smile now every time I look at it 
