So my daughter's favorite person in the world is he daddy. She is pretty well stuck on him. Hence this picture was great excuse to use all these adorable cactus papers!! I don't have any cacti (but I do want some), nore have we traveled to any. So I created this theme from nothing.....well his beard is pretty prickly (he had been growing it out while training for his marathon and intended to cut if off right before. That is a long story for another day).

Anyhoo! I had fun with this and loved all the little challenges. I love the BG paper but it was too busy, so between whiting out the middle and using the back as a frame, I eventually got there. Yes I cut all those frames, distressed them, and then just flipped one over! Haha it was just what I wanted.

I freaked out when I ruined my journaling but that's when I added more paint...and them some lime green. Which was almost scary but then I added the lime confetti and it seemed to all work out. lol

Follow up: since my daughter has been by my side 24/7 through this whole covid situation, she and I have become really close (not that it was bad before, but we are so similar we know how to push each other's buttons). Now she and I are stuck on each other too! Covid had brought us all even closer (amazingly).
