Give a Cheer
I truly have been blessed to have made friends with some very wonderful people on this fantastic website and there are a couple gals that have found a special place in my heart. I wanted to give them something to show how much they mean to me and how much I truly appreciate their friendship. The only way I thought to do that was to make a calendar -- mostly of pictures from the upper Midwest. One of these terrific friends use to live here in MN. These images are of the calendar I made for her. She's now living in North Carolina, so I thought I would send her a bit of place she use to call home.
Very simple design for this month. The picture is of a tom turkey that decided to perch on our front fence just after a snow storm. Its a bit hard to see him in the picture as he blends in well with the pine trees. We have several flocks of turkeys that visit us regularly. They like to "hang out" at the crabapple tree to eat the fruit still left on the tree. They are fun to watch the year through. Thanks so much for taking a peek!
