This is just such an a wonderful calendar. I love every page, every piece! Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness and hard work on this!!! Please know that I will always save and cherish this calendar even when the year is over. This is very special to me and I love you so much my friend! And the fabric you used to make this flower is stunning. The entire calendar is breath taking. I show it to everyone who comes over and I wish you could hear the wonderful comments people say about it! Thank you & I love you my friend!
Last December I made two calendars for two very wonderful scrappers whom I met thru scrapjazz and this site. These gals are true angels to me and am deeply touched by their acts of kindness and friendship. Wish I could visit with them, but because there is such a distance, I decided to bring a little bit of the Midwest to them. This is the calendar I made for Lauri D. This photo was taken on my husband's hunting property in Northern WI after a snow fall the day before. That's the morning sun peeking thru the pines. The flower design is from a tutorial over at Lisa Gregory's blog. Love these designs she posted. The ribbon used here is from a Christmas roll bought at M's. The center was made from a berry branch - I simply separated each berry and then twisted the bundle together and poked the bundle through the center of this flower. The flower turned out better than I expected. I want to say a big THANK YOU to my terrific friend Marcy who sent me some terrific ppr. Love the images! So appreciate you stopping by for a look!!
