Happy day to all of you. Hope everyone is doing well.
I would like you to meet my wonderful, Mother-In-Law, Phyllis. As you can tell, this is her baby picture, reprinted several times. This LO is for the April Heritage Challenge - twist is a baby photo prior to 1960.
Phyllis was born in July 1929 in Northern WI. She is the oldest of 4 children. I wanted to do this photo in a LO using the title of her nickname - Lollipop. She was given this nickname by her Aunt Minna (Mary). And she has no idea why Aunt Minna began calling her Lollipop. :) She just did. And the nickname stayed to this day. Her Uncle Jack and Uncle Bev (Martin) have addressed letters to her as L.P.
This LO has been quite the challenge for me to create. It's taken some time to think of all to put on this page. I do like how it turned out with the colors lavender, light blue, and light green. I created many of the embellishments by hand, including the blocks the letters are on. This LO is quite the combination of many different ideas I have seen on so many other beautiful LOs over the past couple of years and have always wanted to try. It's definitely full of "stuff," but I like how they accent her pictures.
