How cute is this! What a wonderful picture and story. Very creative to use the nut shells on the LO! I especially love the colors and flourishes. Is it wood? It look fabulous! Lots of hugs and love!
Awesome!!!! I love the way you left one corner unpunched. The photo is adorable & your peanut flower & shell embellies are perfect!!! Very, very creative!! Love it!
Love it, the peanuts are such a fun touch, love the burlap the punching and using the DA as framing. Also love the embellie in the top right - how did you do it or what did you use?
awww, He is a beauty, Delores! BC squirrels are about half the size of ours...I put bread and seed out for the squirrels, and the birds often beat them to it! love the burlap and the peanut flower and shells...especially love that you're making friends with this little cutie...as you can imagine, this totally made my day! TFS

so WONDERFULLY done!!! Love your use of the peanuts/shells - very "natural". Lovely flowers, great punchwork, gorgeous chippies and an ADORABLE pic make for an AWESOME lo. TFS!!!
This is gorgeous! I love the creative peanut flower. I have many squirrel photos and wasn`t sure what to do with them but this is inspiring! Thank you. Into my favs!
I absolutely love this and your description. My hubby rants and raves about the numerous squirrels we have. They love to get into our bird feeders! The other day, one climbed up and broke our hummingbird feeder! But.....we still feed everything that comes to the feeders. Beautifully done, Delories.
So cute! Love the the peanut shells - makes my jealous, really! I love nuts but have developed an allergy for them about 2 years ago. If I believed in reincarnation (which I don't!), I would come back as a squirrel, just for the nuts!
Ohhhh....this is the sweetest!!! Can't wait for Lynne to see this one!!! LOVE your peanut flower and the fact that you used the shells too! Very clever! Love your punchwork, flowers, vine and burlap. That blue butterfly is beautiful! Great job!
We have quite a few squirrels demanding to be fed!! Quite loudly!! Along with a swarm of birds of every kind!! They keep you running and BROKE!! But we love them dearly...even when they poop all over our lawn chairs LOL!! This little guy is inside a bird feeder that only allows very small birds entry...he squeezes and wiggles and gets in with no problem. He's getting tamer every day! I can take out a hand full of peanuts in the shell and walk to within 2 feet of him! He is beautiful!! I made a peanut flower and kept the shells to add to the lo! TFL
