This was my brother's unusual gift to his dw. He is not at all crafty, but I had heard of an idea like this and he went for it! Spray a whole load of walnuts gold then cut in half along the seam. Take out the meat (nut) and then add your gift ideas written out in whichever way you like - trip to the theatre, movie night in, dinner at smart restaurant, bottle of wine of your choice etc etc) - then glue the nut shells back together and attach to a little tree with gold wire.
This is the before and after pic - I'm not sure I would have been able to smash them all!
