My DH saw pics of fairy doors on the computer. It's not often that he requests a project, so we figured out how to do them He cut the wood after I got this shape from the tree. Then I used an old stencil cutter to add wood grain to the wood. Painted the door, added some slate I have had forever. Kind of broke it up into smaller pieces (great stress reliever to bang with that hammer) and glued it onto the wood. Added hinges, door knob and window with some embellis, and painted a small wooden bird with a blue wash. My husband then nailed to the tree (through the window, then I added that embelli). He added the stones for a walk way for the little ones!
