In the summer of 1983 when I was very pregnant with my middle child, I went home to see my grandma whom I thought was dying. She was okay and we had a wonderful visit. While there, I took my two children who were 2 and 3 years old to a petting zoo at the mall. My oldest (piictured here) grabbed a goose and wouldn't let go even as it tried to fly away with him in tow. I had to try to get him to release the poor goose while I also held onto my two year old. I looked up and everyone was laughing- including a young man who I'd had a huge crush on in high school. Boy was I embarrassed! And I've never forgotten that poor, traumatized goose. To make this I use carboard, lace, ribbon, blue paint, foam flowers, and some chippies. I also journaled the story. Thanks for looking.
