This a LO I did for the UGLY PAPER for APRIL.
JOURNALING READS - Butlin's was a holiday camp all over Great Britain. I don't think they exist anymore, but when the camps were operating it was so much fun for all the family, young and old alike. This is a photo of my Mum at 14 years old with her Granny, in the dinning hall. The people sitting across from her, I have no idea who they are and I'm sure she either at first.
The significance of the red and white twine is that the 'RED COATS' activity personal would have to wear RED blazer/coats and white trousers, socks and shoes. Fun times, great memories!!
