I entered this l/o in a Dusty Attic Birthday Challenge. Used a Beggahuna sketch to help me with the design. I made each of the four horizontal strips out of cream colored Bazil paper and stamped and applied the ink resist technique and rubbed in cream, kraft and dusty pink inks on the stamp resist to make my own paper. There are several Dusty Attic chippies; vintage clock, scrolls, ornate corner, and the hinge. I used a paper mache technique on the hinge with mulberry paper, inked it, applied crackle and rubbed in some brown paint. I added a creamy liquid pearl to the fact of the vintage clock and applied crackle on top to give is a pearlescent and glassy face. I also used the paper mache technique by using pieces of a kraft colored paper bag and applying it on both side of the vintage clock. Whew, this l/o took up a lot of time, can't just glue down some DA you know, you have to create, and nurture it to reveal it's true beauty. Ha. Thanks for looking. Oh, I purchased the DA chipppies from Swirlydoos.
