I had experimented with some Blue Fern Studio chipboard, molding paste, mists, tissue, webbing, etc. and I really liked the results I was getting on some white scrap paper. When I finished, I tossed the experiment in a drawer because it was too pretty to throw away just yet. Imagine my happiness when I saw the ScrapFriends Sketch Challenge appear in my Blog Reading List. The sketch featured four horizontal strips. I retrieved my experiment and set to work to create little belly dancing belts adorned with coin charms sewn on the belts with gold metallic thread, and the Blue Fern Studios chipboard had the perfect Moroccan elements to use as gold buckles. And, of course, the theme wouldn't be complete without some dancing photos, so I dug threw some pictures boxes and retrieve this one of me wearing my first costume made by mom and aunt. I still have my zils (finger cymbals) and I remember how to use them, but my hips don't move the same. LOL. Port Said is the music from my first dance performance. Thanks for looking. I hope your Blog Reading List inspire you too.
