A few weeks ago I bought a set of two embossing folders that were marked way down and this was one of them. That day I was so excited about them that I grabbed a couple of scraps and ran them through my Big Shot. I then rubbed my sanding block over each one and really like how this turned out looking like delicate lace.

Anyway, I found out today that one of my friends at the gym where I work out had a stroke over the weekend so when I got home I went out and made this card for her. I also got this new die cut/stamp set on sale last Friday. (Our local craft store is unfortunately closing.) The beautiful leather like flowers were from our friend Marylou (Meggie's Nana). Thank you sweet friend. I love them and I've used them all up now! I inked them in just a bit with TH Victorian Velvet. The flourishes were also some I had leftover from awhile back and rubbed a little VV over them too.
