I became inspired to make my first bird layout after capturing these pictures of a Western Tanager! I remembered I had this pretty paper that I got at our local Craft Warehouse on clearance before it closed its doors last month and I knew it would be perfect for my layout! It came together very quickly and I had a lot of fun making it. I didn't really do any background work, just some technique work on the wood chippies and I m ade all the flowers here over a year ago! The yellow and pale red flowers are made from used Bounce sheets and inked in with TH Worn Lipstick and Mustard Seed. The dark red ones are made out of TH grungepaper, embossed and inked in with TH Barn Door and Fired Brick.

On the wood leaf vine (Creative Embellishments Flourish Set 10), I first used Dylusions Dirty Martini spray mist, then inked over that with TH Shabby Shutters, heat embossed with clear Zing embossing powder and then sprayed over that with Perfect Pearls in Pearl mist. The little flowers are from Hobby Lobby.

On the frames over each picture are Scrapiniec wood chippies. I sprayed those with Dylusions Postbox Red and then Perfect Pearls Heirloom Gold.

The wood birdhouses were from Unique Laser Designs when I was a Guest Designer. They are now closed.

The background paper is Recollections - Orange Glitter Bird

Thank you so much for stopping by my gallery! Enjoy your weekend!
