I had so much fun creating this and it was inspired by some cards I saw on Pinterest although those cards featured pretty fairies. Since I don't have any fairies stamps I decided to go with my pretty Tim Holtz bird stamp and then used other foliage stamps I've had in my stash for years!

I started from scratch using watercolor paper. I cut a 2-1/2" circle of scrap paper and placed in where I wanted the "sun" and started inking around it with TH distress inks until I had it completely colored the way I wanted it. Then inked around the edges with Black Soot and used Jet Black Archival Ink for all of the stamps. I love how it turned out and I hope you do too! I hope it inspires you to try out some inking and stamping techniques!
