Autumn Wonder Tag (for Jess)

This is my fourth tag I made for an Autumn or Halloween swap that Donna (Bonprof) hosted here on sb.com. My swap partner, Jess, and I decided to go with the Autumn theme. When I started on this I knew I wanted to use that wood shaving that I found on the ground that my son had cut off the end of a 2x4 for a table he was building. I thought it was pretty cool looking. Then I remembered this owl I had made a while back from an eggshell mosaic tutorial from Gabrielle Pollacco and decided to use that on it too! The base of the tag was actually a holder from some turquoise jewelry my sister sent me for my birthday. It held a necklace and earring set. It was extra wide so I cut the sides off and then covered front and back with the pretty K & Company Alleghany Plum papers (scraps from my stash).

Special thanks to Melissa (Scraphouse) for the chippie "Wonder". I used Garnet Liquid Pearls on it.
The raffia was from my best friend, Susie. The various yarns were from the antique mall and Walmart.
Felt leaves, beaded leaves and sunflower from Hobby Lobby.
