Wow! How clever is that! I need to look at the instructions you posted. My DH doesn't care for pistachios so it would just be up to me to eat them all. Oh, well. Hard work but somebody's got to do it, right? :oP
These are amazing! I read your description before I really noticed the title and said, 'Shells? What shells?' Then, of course, I had to check out your first ones. Who would have ever thought you could make such beautiful creations from pistachio shells! These remind me of the succulents (Hen and chicks) I've had over the years. I doubt I'll never eat pistachios, but if I ever do, I'm going to make some of these. Thank you for sharing, Elizabeth, you have a very creative mind!
Here's a couple more flowers I made yesterday. The purple one is much darker than I'd hoped but I don't have any light purple spray mist. Hmmmm, I think I need to make some! I was striving for yellow with rosy tips on the other one. After I sprayed the whole thing yellow first, I stashed some kleenex down between the petals before I sprayed the pink but it still showed up a bit too much rosy-pink. I like them anyway. I still have lots of shells and my husband ate more than double of what shells I already had! LOL (I helped him eat a few!) ;-)
