Well, this came out nothing like my original intention, but it was inspired by a super cute card made by LC (Cardiographer)! She had made the cutest little card using what looked like a denim pocket and red handkerchief paper underneath. When I told her I had some pockets I'd saved from my boys and husband from old pants I didn't remember the pockets being so big!! LOL

Soooo, I knew this was going to be a huge card (it is 8x10!) because I found this cool paper in my stash of rulers and measuring tapes. Since my Sam is so talented in fixing everything and uses a tape measure quite frequently (he built the craft table for my Craft Palace) I figured I would put this paper to use. I did do a tag like LC but you can pull it out with the Dickies button. The pocket, buttons, Dickies label and belt loops are all from an old pair of Sam's Dickies. And notice I added the 26 on the tag...that will be his age this coming Saturday!

I had to piece the card base together because it is so big and I cut and used some extra tape measures left over from the paper to cover the seams inside. Although you can't tell it from the picture that paper collection is embossed and glossy on the tape measures. I also made them envelope, as you can easily guess!!
