Hi all! Here's an embellishments box I altered for a swap that Donna (Bonprof) hosted. I happened to draw her name! I have had this wooden box for a couple of years just waiting to do something fancy with it and when this swap came up I decided it would be perfect for it! I covered inside and out with Hot Off The Press's Handmade Memories paper collection that I bought at Bi-Mart a long time ago. I rubbed Tim Holtz Victorian Velvet on the wood where it opens as well as all around the edges of the paper. I changed out the hinges and the closure, added metal corners and legs. On the top, I heat embossed the flourish from Inkadinkado's Modern Flower Flourish stamp. The gorgeous roses wreath is from Reneabouquets. I made the "flower" that is the main focal piece. What looks like a crocheted doily was actually trim I got from a local antique mall, that I gathered up to make the flower. There is a layer of reembroidered lace from Melissa (Stackhouse), pearls from my sis-in-law, Lilly, and the peach flowers from my best friend, Susie. The roses on the birdcage are also from Susie. Butterflies are Reneabouquets as well as the metal closure.

The next picture shows all the embellies I crammed in the box, 10 of which I made or altered.

Thank you so much for stopping by and visiting. I appreciate you all!!
