Layers of Lovliness Birthday Card

My sweet friend, Marylou (Meggie'sNana) has been weighing heavy on my mind for weeks now and on Wednesday I was looking for inspiration for a birthday card, when I decided to look at some of hers that I had printed out in the past. This card was inspired by one of hers.

Special thanks to Phyllis F. for the lovely doily and Pam (FritillaryB) for the butterfly die.

Marylou actually used a flower on her doily that she had diecut but I went with one of my butterflies that I diecut a year or two ago from glitter cardstock with a lace overlay. Added some little Beautiful Beads from Reneabouquets.

Card base and ephemera pieces as well as the crochet strip of paper are all from DCWV The Primrose Stack and all are scraps!

I cut down a piece of burlap ribbon and pulled several strips out of it to layer on top of the card and under the ephemera. The papers are all inked with TH Vintage Photo.
