Fantastic! Love the poem. There is no such thing as a learning disability. You are just alternately-abled. You are unique and wonderfully made. Perhaps misunderstood in the world, but well-understood by your Creator who is the only One who really counts.
I really love this. You have blessed me with your words. I always feel like my work should always be coordinated just to put it down. Then I miss out on the chance to do a really nice piece of work. What you are letting me know is thatsituations and things don't always have to be perfect to create. I love it.
This layout is a celebration of Then & Now. I used two photos: one photo is when I was 6 yrs. and the second photo I am 46 yrs. old. A favorite poem, entitled "Kids Who Are Diffferent" by Digby Wolfe helps to tell the story. Growing up with a learning disability and attention deficit disorder was sometimes challenging yet freeing. It is true that our differences are what makes us unique...I love zigzag, curvy lines, I may not be so coordinated or I may put together strange color combinations :)...So, I won't to celebrate then and now that's okay. So sing loudly, have fun and go for it all! I enjoy this site because it allows us all to celebrate our uniqueness through creativity. Thank you for looking!
