This was the delivery of our bathroom remodel back wall of our shower which in made of onyx which is a soft material compared to granite. We paid for the stone two months before it was delivered, but it was the impetus for our remodel!
So when it came time to install the stone was the first time the owner of the shop had come to see where it would be installed and the first thing he said was we have to cut it in half!! I had this look on my face that the contractor saw and he went to bat for us! He backtracked to the first turn on the stairway with his tape measure in hand and said it will fit, went to the second turn and said it will fit. The owner of the shop didn't respond and my contractor said is it that it is too hard or you don't want to do it?
Before he left with the installer Raphael he said I don't want to break my guys backs. So then he left we weren't sure what to expect. Well he sent us the cost for the install and what they did was take a notch out of the bottom right where the seat was installed and we were more than happy with that!
The guys in the first picture were not being shy but they were actually taking a rest. When they went up the stairway I had to look away and my dh Grant took the pics after that. They gouged only one wall as they made the turn but the last photo shows them making it to the top level. I saw that and was relieved but was concerned about the actual install!
The kitties were in a crate but this crate had an annex where their potty was. lol I had gotten my rescue from my boss who is very dedicated to the kitties belonging to a feline rescue group. Our last cat had died and I told her I was ready and wanted two girl kitties so I got my Doll and LeeLee. Their eyes actually looked like TH Crazy Kitties as most of the trades left the doors open and they are indoor only.
