Haven't had pets in a long time but I remember these times - they do let us know what they want! I had one that would sit on the top of the steps every night about 9:00 and holler for us that it was time to go to bed and then would sit them and wait and call some more to let us know to come upstairs to go to bed. (We used to watch tv in bed a lot.) When we had company they always asked, "Why is you cat sitting at the top of the steps?" I just said, "Don't pay attention to her, she just thinks its time for us to come to bed." They are such funny creatures.
